Provisioned PTU for Azure Open AI Servcie.

Hi

I have raised multiple request to increase quota. for Standard deployment for GTP-5. Fro last 3 months. They have same answer "System is constrained for this model" and no ETA.

Search the whole Q&A. Everyone is crying for Quota and Microsoft has ONLY one answer -
"System is constrained and we can not increase the Quota. when ti be increased? No ETA. !!

Now I have requested quota in Provisioned PTU. If this is not doen, then I will have to say goodbye to Azure for ever.

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

If Microsoft has said “system is constrained” for 3 months with no ETA, nothing is going to change in the near term. For Standard deployments of GPT5, the platform is genuinely capacity blocked and approvals are essentially frozen. That is why every Q&A thread has the same response.

Provisioned PTU is your only realistic path, but if that request is also delayed or rejected, then you have hit the hard limit of what Azure can offer right now.

I use South India.

Now to avoid business impact I have also deployed in two other region. USE-EAST-2 and South East Asia. But this si not really a. solution to keep deploying every where.
