I can’t reload my Live.co.Uk account. It stops working and demands a change of password which it doesn’t accept. Then it requires a scanned QR code but doesn’t provide one. Or an Authenticator number which doesn’t appear.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with accessing your Live.co.Uk account, particularly with password changes and authentication methods. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the situation:

    1. Password Reset: If your account is demanding a password change, ensure that you are entering the correct current password. If it is not accepted, you may need to use the password recovery option to reset your password.
    2. Authenticator App: If you are required to use the Microsoft Authenticator app for verification but are not seeing the necessary QR code or number, ensure that the app is properly installed and updated on your device. You may also need to sign in to your account using a different method first, as the QR code authentication requires prior authentication.
    3. Alternative Authentication Methods: If the QR code is not provided, check if there are alternative methods for authentication available, such as receiving a verification code via SMS or email. Make sure your security information (like phone number or alternate email) is up to date in your account settings.
    4. Contact Support: If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your account situation.

Remember to keep your security information updated to avoid similar issues in the future.
