My account has been assigned the role 'Contributor' (type BuiltInRole) and has access to Pay-as-you-go.

But I don't have permission to add apps or view existing ones. What is wrong with my permissions?

The issue you are experiencing with not being able to add apps or view existing ones, despite having the 'Contributor' role, may be due to the specific permissions associated with that role. The 'Contributor' role allows users to manage resources but does not grant permissions to access certain application-specific features or settings, which may be required for adding or viewing apps.

To resolve this, you may need to check if you have been assigned a role that includes the necessary permissions for app management. You might consider roles such as 'Owner' or a specific role that includes permissions for managing applications in your Azure environment.

Additionally, ensure that there are no restrictions or conditions applied to your role assignment that might limit your access to app-related functionalities.

For further troubleshooting, you can review the roles assigned to you and verify if any additional permissions are needed to perform the actions you are trying to execute.
