I have MS authenticator installed on both my iPad and iPhone, but can only use my iPhone to approve access on the various apps requesting authorization. How can I synchronize my iPad and iPhone so I can get this approval through either device?

To synchronize Microsoft Authenticator between your iPad and iPhone, you need to ensure that you have set up the backup and recovery options correctly on both devices. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Set up iCloud Backup on both devices:
      • On each device, open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
      • Go to Settings and turn on iCloud backup. This will allow your account credentials to be backed up to your iCloud account.
    2. Restore from iCloud on your iPad:
      • If you have already set up your iPhone with the Authenticator app, you can restore the same account on your iPad.
      • Open the Authenticator app on your iPad and sign in with the same Microsoft account.
      • Follow the prompts to restore your accounts from iCloud.
    3. Verify Synchronization:
      • After restoring, check if you can approve access requests from both devices.

By following these steps, you should be able to approve access requests through either your iPad or iPhone using Microsoft Authenticator.
