I have Microsoft Professional Plus 2016 and I know that it was phased out by Microsoft. I do not want an online Office 365. Anyway, all of a sudden, it started to crash every time I tried to change the font in an Excel spreadsheet. Please advise.

I already repaired it more than once. No add-ins apply. Please advise.

    Hello!

    1. Does this problem occur in all spreadsheets? Create a new spreadsheet, create some tables, and see if the problem persists.
    2. Are your spreadsheets saved locally or on OneDrive? Click the blue cloud icon in the taskbar (if available) and see if your account is synchronized.
    3. Do you use custom fonts?
    4. Did this problem occur after installing any fonts, updates, programs...?

While I await your response, try an online repair.

    Windows 10

    1. Open Windows Settings (Windows + I) > Apps > Apps & Features.
    2. Search for "Microsoft 365" or "Microsoft Office <Year> (2019, 2021)" > Click on the app > Change > Online Repair > Repair.
    3. When the repair is complete, restart your computer.

    Windows 11

    1. Open Windows Settings (Windows + I) > Apps > Installed Apps.
    2. Search for "Microsoft 365" or "Microsoft Office <Year> (2019, 2021)" > Click on the 3 Dots (●●●) > Change > Online Repair > Repair.
    3. When the repair is complete, restart your computer.
