I worked for a school district who use the authenticator app. Microsoft still continues to pull up that old account that I can no longer access. I work for a different school district. They also use Microsoft Office. I keep trying to sign into it, but it keeps pulling up my old school district, and it won’t let me through. I deleted them out of the authenticator app so my new school district doesn’t even use them. I need to get my work email on my phone.

If you're having trouble with an old account in the Microsoft Authenticator app that you can no longer access, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Remove the Old Account: Ensure that you have completely removed the old account from the Authenticator app. If you have already deleted it, proceed to the next step.
    2. Clear Cache and Data: Sometimes, clearing the cache and data of the Authenticator app can help. Go to your device's settings, find the Authenticator app, and clear its cache and data.
    3. Sign Out of Old Accounts: Make sure you are signed out of any old accounts on your device. Go to the Microsoft Office apps or any other Microsoft apps you are using and sign out of the old account.
    4. Add Your New Work Account: After signing out, try adding your new work account again in the Authenticator app. You may need to go through the setup process for multifactor authentication (MFA) for your new school district.
    5. Contact IT Support: If the issue persists, it might be best to contact your new school district's IT support for assistance. They can help ensure that your account is set up correctly and that there are no lingering issues with the old account.

By following these steps, you should be able to access your new work email on your phone without interference from the old account.

    Hello

Are you using it on Windows 11 platform, or MacOS?
