Techniques and strategies for refining search queries to obtain more accurate and relevant results.
Hi @yvette sims,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for reaching out. I understand you are encountering a "Request Blocked" notification when accessing your Microsoft Edge Collections. This behavior often stems from synchronization discrepancies or security configurations.
To address this, please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below:
- Refresh Browser Identity: Signing out and back into your Microsoft Edge profile can refresh the connection to the service. Click your Profile icon at the top of the browser, select Sign out, restart Microsoft Edge, and then Sign in again.
- Clear Browsing Data: Cached data can sometimes interfere with how pages load.
- Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Choose Cookies and Cached images, set the time range to All time, and select Clear now.
- Check Tracking Prevention Settings: If your tracking prevention is set to a high level, it may inadvertently limit communication with the Collections service. Ensure this is set to Balanced under the Privacy settings menu.
- Review Extensions: Third-party extensions can occasionally intercept the request to load your images. Please try accessing your Collections with extensions temporarily disabled.
Please try these steps and let me know the outcome. If the situation persists, I will be happy to conduct a further investigation to identify the root cause and find a solution for you.
I look forward to your update.
