Same issues. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
My Copilot sidebar in the Edge browser keep asking me to sign
I have already signed in, but Copilot sidebar in the browser keep blocking my request and show me sign in pop up message. I have already sign in in the web, in the apps and in my mobile apps. But the copilot sidebar failed to register the fact that I already sign in. And the sign in button that keep popping up is not even working and not responding. This happens after the most recent Edge update. It's so frustrating not to mention I loss access to all my past conversation in the My Conversation tab.

Q&A Assist2025-12-07T04:02:42.1633333+00:00 AI generated content. This question contains an answer created with AI from Q&A Assist. Learn moreIt sounds like you're experiencing issues with the Copilot sidebar in Microsoft Edge not recognizing your sign-in status after a recent update. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
- Check for Updates: Ensure that your Microsoft Edge is up to date. Sometimes, subsequent updates may fix bugs introduced in earlier versions.
- Clear Cache and Cookies: Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help resolve sign-in issues. Go to Edge settings, find the privacy section, and clear browsing data.
- Disable Extensions: Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with functionality. Try disabling any extensions to see if that resolves the issue.
- Sign Out and Back In: Even though you've signed in, try signing out of your Microsoft account in Edge and then signing back in.
- Check Permissions: Make sure that the Copilot has the necessary permissions to access your account. You can check this in the settings under Microsoft Edge > Settings > Appearance > Copilot and Sidebar.
- Restart Edge: After making changes, restart the browser to see if the issue persists.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance, especially since it started after an update.

2025-12-09T11:27:35.09+00:00 Got this issue as well, and really super annoying. Still working fine on iPhone app though. I believe it started with the 143...66 Edge update. It's actually just now resolved with the new update, Version 143.0.3650.75 (Official build) (64-bit). Working for me now.
