Hello I need to figure out how to get thru the Authenticator app. It just keeps trying to send me the authentication code to get into the app. So I can’t put in the code to use the app. It’s an impossible loop.

If you're experiencing an issue where the Microsoft Authenticator app is continuously prompting you for an authentication code to access the app itself, you may be caught in a loop. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this:

    1. Check for Notifications: Ensure that you are receiving notifications on your device. Sometimes, the app sends a push notification that you can approve directly from your phone's notification center.
    2. Manual Code Entry: If the app is not allowing you to access it through notifications, try to see if there's an option to enter a code manually. You may need to use another device or method to retrieve the code.
    3. Reinstall the App: If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the Microsoft Authenticator app. This can sometimes reset the app's state and resolve any glitches.
    4. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, it may be best to reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as they can provide more specific guidance based on your situation.
    5. Backup Codes: If you have previously set up backup codes or alternative authentication methods, you can use those to access your account temporarily while you resolve the issue with the app.

By following these steps, you should be able to regain access to the Microsoft Authenticator app and resolve the authentication loop issue.
