If you are unable to access the Microsoft Authenticator app because it requires you to approve a sign-in request that you cannot authorize, you may need to consider the following options:

    1. Temporary Access Pass: If your organization allows it, you can request a Temporary Access Pass from your admin. This pass can help you sign in without needing to use the Authenticator app initially.
    2. Alternative Sign-in Methods: Check if there are alternative sign-in methods available for your account that do not require the Authenticator app. You might be able to use a different method to access your work emails.
    3. Recovery Options: If you have recovery options set up (like a backup email or phone number), you might be able to use those to regain access to your account.
    4. Contact IT Support: If none of the above options work, consider reaching out to your organization's IT support team for assistance. They can help you reset your access or troubleshoot the issue further.
    5. WebAuthn Registration: If you have trouble registering a passkey in Authenticator, you can try registering directly from the Security info page with WebAuthn, provided you have the necessary connectivity and permissions.

These steps should help you regain access to your work emails while resolving the issues with the Authenticator app.
