When Provisioning Status is Completed but ConfigurationStatus is Failed, Network ATC has pushed the intent metadata but could not fully apply the configuration on the host (adapter bindings, VLANs, RDMA/offload settings, etc.).

Confirm steps below once:
Get-NetIntentStatus | Format-List *
Get-NetIntent -Name compute_management | Format-List *
Please look for: Per‑adapter status, VLANs, RDMA settings, and any specific Error text (for example adapter binding conflict, unsupported capability, duplicate VLAN, etc.). - https://docs.azure.cn/en-us/azure-local/deploy/network-atc?tabs=22H2&pivots=azure-stack-hci
For checking event logs on the node: Open Event Viewer > Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft‑Windows‑NetworkATC/Operational and Microsoft‑Windows‑NetworkATC/Debug if enabled.
Please filter for Warning/Error around the timestamps in last updated to see the failure (for example, adapter not present, QoS mis‑match, RDMA not supported, BMC NIC included by accident, etc.).
Remediation suggests:
Get-NetAdapter Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty -Name <AdapterName> -RegistryKeyword "*NetworkDirectTechnology"This indicates that one or more of your physical NICs are missing expected RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) configuration values.
Azure Stack HCI relies on intent-based configuration for host networking, especially for Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and RDMA over SMB Direct. The update readiness engine validates that all participating adapters support compatible Network Direct technologies like:
iWARP , RoCE ,RoCEv2
If a NIC does not report any of these capabilities, the intent validation fails.
