Our app server stops responding at random times, and requires a restart. This is not a reliable solution if we decide to go to production, and very concerned about the viability of using azure

When an Azure Web App stops responding randomly, it usually means the app is running out of resources or the instance is getting recycled. Below are a few simple checks that usually help fix this:
- Scale Up or Scale Out
- Your current App Service Plan might not have enough CPU or memory.
- Try scaling up to a higher tier (Standard/Premium).
- You can also scale out to run more than one instance so that if one instance has an issue, the others keep working.
- Turn On “Always On”
- If “Always On” is off, Azure may put your app to sleep when it's idle.
- This can make the app slow or unresponsive.
- Enabling Always On keeps the app running all the time.
- Configure Health Check
- Set up a Health Check endpoint so Azure can continuously test if your app is healthy.
- If an instance becomes unhealthy, Azure will automatically replace it.
- This avoids needing manual restarts.
- Check Logs and Metrics
- Use App Service Diagnostics and Application Insights to see if there are errors, memory leaks, or long-running requests.
- These tools help you find the real cause of the crashes.
