Microsoft deprecating many features and functionalities in OS, Applications, Frameworks. Adding / Updating many features. We have a legacy windows-based application having many such components that might not give trouble but may give trouble, and also Microsoft having multiple recommendation for a scenario instead of OLE DB provider using OLE DB driver.

Identifying such unsupported components in bigger applications is BIG work

My question here is, do we have any tool or utility where I can use to find out Microsoft deprecated items or recommendations. If it is not available, my suggestion is to create it will be helpful for Microsoft users.

Sorry if my recommendation is wrong.

    Hi ,

This is a good idea but I think no such tool at the moment.

For information about deleted features, we can check the official website.
