To call Notepad on Windows 11, you can simply search for it in the Start menu or use the Run dialog. Here are the steps:

    1. Using the Start Menu:
      • Click on the Start button or press the Windows key on your keyboard.
      • Type "Notepad" in the search bar.
      • Click on the Notepad app from the search results to open it.
    2. Using the Run Dialog:
      • Press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.
      • Type notepad and press Enter.
      • This will launch Notepad immediately.

Notepad is included in Windows 11, so you should have it available by default without needing to install anything extra.

Do you want to start Notepad via a keyboard shortcut?

    Or

Do you want to activate Notepad Old?

    Hi,

    Yes, just follow this tutorial:

Start menu > Open Settings > Apps.

Expand "More settings" and click on "Application execution aliases." > Disable "Notepad" by turning off the access button.

Start menu > Open Settings > System > Optional features > View features > Type notepad > Select Notepad (system) from the list and click Next and wait for it to install.

    Open command prompt and run the command: reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad /v ShowStoreBanner /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

    Restart your PC and test.
