Somehow through folder redirection policies, we have ended up with a massive amount of folders named '$RECYCLE.BIN' on our file server. I just did a search for that exact folder name, and I have 803 of them for about 125 users. Looking through them, they seem to correlate to each redirected folder we have configured (in our case that is Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, Desktop & Favorites). How did this happen? Why do i have several per user's home folder?
