How do I fix this error? And access the documents?

    The most likely explanation is that the account associated with the computer doesn’t have permissions to access the notebook, but it’s also possible that you’re using an outdated link (for instance if the notebook was moved). Double check under File=>Accounts and then verify online at OneNote.com or on your Sharepoint server that you can see the notebook from the particular account. Once you have it open in the browser you can hit “Edit on Desktop” and it should open.
