Change Outlook Default from New to Classic on webpages

I am using Office Home and Business 2024. When I click "email us" from a website, it automatically directs me to New Outlook instead of Classic which is what I use. How can I set it to default to Classic?

    I believe that the default protocol you need to change is "MAILTO:". (".eml" is for what app opens a saved email file).

    Start Menu -> Settings -> Apps -> Default apps.
    Scroll down and pick “Choose default apps by protocol” from the menu.
    For ‘Mailto’, choose the classic outlook for windows.

    Hello,

    Open the settings menu and search for "default apps" find classic outlook and set the ".eml" format to default to classic outlook so any "mail us" links on websites open classic instead of new.
