Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it can be when you’re unable to access your email especially if it’s impacting your work. I'm here to help!
First, try signing in using a private or incognito browser window or a different device. This helps rule out cached credentials or browser-related issues.
Second, clear any stored credentials and temporary files on your device. You can do this through Control Panel → Credential Manager and by removing Outlook-related files under %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook. After that, restart your device and attempt the login again.
Third, if the issue persists, create a new Outlook profile or repair the existing one. You can do this via Control Panel → Mail → Show Profiles and select Repair under Account Settings. This step ensures your profile isn’t corrupted.
Last, if none of these steps resolve the error, it’s best to contact Microsoft Support at https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/ with detailed information such as when the issue started, whether MFA is enabled, and if other Microsoft 365 apps are affected. This will help them pinpoint the root cause quickly.
I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any further questions If the answer is helpful, please click "Accept Answer".
