Have an MS Surface Mouse and now a Win 11 laptop. This mouse doesn't show up in my Settings list of devices. It worked fine on my Win 10 laptop (do I need to delete it from there first???)

thanks

Jeff

To connect your MS Surface Mouse to your Windows 11 laptop, you generally do not need to delete it from your Windows 10 laptop first. However, make sure that the mouse is not currently connected to the Windows 10 device. Here are the steps you can follow to connect the mouse to your Windows 11 laptop:

    1. Turn on your Surface Mouse and ensure it is in pairing mode. If you are unsure how to do this, refer to the mouse's documentation.
    2. On your Windows 11 laptop, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
    3. Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.
    4. Click on Add Bluetooth or other device and select Bluetooth.
    5. Wait for your Surface Mouse to appear in the list of available devices, then select it to pair.

If the mouse still does not show up, try turning off Bluetooth on your Windows 10 laptop to ensure that it is not connected there.

If you continue to experience issues, you may want to check for any available updates for your Windows 11 laptop or the mouse itself.
