Hi D,M,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience. I understand how frustrating it must be to see the Copilot icon persist in PowerPoint even after disabling it successfully in Word and Excel.
At this time, the option to disable Copilot in PowerPoint may not yet be fully available across all builds, even if you’re running version 2511. The documentation you referenced is correct in noting that a checkbox should appear under Options > General, but rollout of this feature can vary depending on update channels and account types.
To move forward, I recommend:
- Confirming that your Office apps are updated through File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
- Checking whether your account is on the Current Channel (Preview) or another update channel, as availability can differ.
- If the checkbox still doesn’t appear after confirming updates and checking your update channel, the best next step is simply to wait for the rollout to reach your configuration. Some features are released gradually across different regions and update channels
In the meantime, keeping Office updated ensures you’ll receive the feature as soon as it’s enabled for your account. I hope this helps address your situation, and I'd be glad to hear back from you with any updates.
