It sounds like you are experiencing issues with Windows Security after upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. This can happen if the upgrade process did not complete successfully or if certain components were not installed properly during the upgrade. Sometimes, compatibility issues or missing updates can lead to such problems.

To resolve this, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check for Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 installation is fully updated. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any available updates.
    2. Repair Windows Security: You can try repairing the Windows Security app by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, finding Windows Security, and selecting the option to repair it.
    3. Reinstall Windows Security: If the repair doesn't work, you may need to reinstall Windows Security. This can often resolve issues related to missing files or components.
    4. Use Windows Troubleshooter: Run the built-in troubleshooter for Windows Update and Windows Security to identify and fix potential issues.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, you might consider performing a clean installation of Windows 11 Pro, which can help ensure that all components are installed correctly.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please let us know the exact error message you receive when opening the Windows Security app?

When you open it, is the screen completely blank, or do you see any specific error message displayed?

    Hello,

If the program displays a white screen with a shield icon, you can try these steps.

    1 Re-register Windows Security.

Open the PowerShell (Administrator) window. Execute the command below and click Enter.

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage

Once completed, restart your computer and open the Windows Security app.

2 Download the SecurityHealth_.exe setup package by clicking the link below. This package is safe to download.

    SecurityHealthSetup_***.exe

Once downloaded, right-click the file and select Run as Administrator.

Once done, restart your computer and open the Windows Security app.
