OneDrive File showing this message saying "Turn Off Track Changes"

Dear Community,

I have this issue with one of user's file, when user tries editing the file it shows error saying "Turn Off Tracking Changes". How can he/she avoids this message? Also what does this message mean, what doe sit indicate?

Welcome to Q&A Forum!

If you switch the document mode to Editing mode, you are effectively telling the program that you want them to be able to edit without keeping track, so it reminds you that you are turning off track changes for everyone.

You can refer to the following two ways to avoid this message:

SolutionA: Turn off Track Changes

On the Review tab, in the Track Changes drop-down box, select Off

SolutionB: Edit documents in Reviewing mode

On the Reviewing mode, click Accept or Reject.

• Accept: Agree to document modification and save changes
• Reject：Reject document modification and delete changes
