I am trying to setup Azure Devops work item connector as per the article below.

I have "Ai Administrator" role and all the API permissions have been granted. but when I try to click on "Authorize" with Application id and client secret, the pop up appears to login and it keeps redirecting to the same login page and then eventually gives the error " Repeating redirects detected".
Been trying since 3 days now. opened a ticket with MS but they are clueless as well until now.
checked the sign in logs of the app reg but nothing is there.
