I inserted an image into my question "Unable to insert page number in WORD", but it isn't there now. I got no error message.

Thanks for your help,

When you insert an image into your question on Q&A and it doesn't appear, there could be several reasons for this. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Attachment Requirements: Ensure that the image meets the requirements for attachments. The maximum size per file is 3 MB, and the allowed formats include GIF, PNG, JPG, and JPEG. If the image exceeds these limits, it won't be uploaded.
    2. Verify Upload Process: Make sure you followed the correct process to insert the image. You can either drag and drop the image into the editor or use the "Browse" option to select it from your computer. After selecting, confirm that you clicked the "Add image" button.
    3. Look for Error Messages: Although you mentioned not receiving an error message, it's worth double-checking if there were any notifications or prompts during the upload process that might indicate an issue.
    4. Refresh the Page: Sometimes, simply refreshing the page can resolve display issues. After refreshing, check if the image appears.
    5. Try Again: If the image still doesn't show up, try removing it and adding it again, ensuring that you follow the upload steps correctly.

You have to confirm that you want to add your picture by clicking the Insert image button at the bottom of the preview. See an example below.

If you forgot to confirm, or if the web site stopped responding at this point, the picture would have been lost.
