Steps to remove & recreate DFS Replication Group

I need to remove existing DFS replication group due to error and going to recreate it after this. Can anyone please advise me on the proper steps to do this?

I have a plan as below:

  1. Right click and delete the replication group
  2. Force AD replication and manually pollad from dfsr members
  3. Recreate the replication group and select primary member accordingly to avoid data loss.

Do I need to delete the DfsrPrivate folder as well after deleting the replication group? Or I can just safely ignore it?

Thanks a lot and looking forward to any response.
