The app does not have the past account that generated the 6 digit one time password which I need to log into my email account.

Unfortunately, passkeys in Microsoft Authenticator are device-bound and cannot be synced or restored to a new device. If you have lost your passkeys after updating the app, there is no way to retrieve them. It is recommended to create new passkeys for your accounts directly in the Authenticator app. Make sure to store them securely going forward.
