How to update my windows that keeps bringing error code

Question

This keeps bringing the same error no matter how much i have retried the update and i have wasted a lot of data.

I also have error checking my device manger, i have uninstalled the error and restart my laptop so many times as well. there seem to be no changes still. Currently my touch pad is not working anymore i am using the keyboard to navigate my way around the laptop at the moment

The error 0xc1900101-20017 means the Windows feature update is failing because of driver conflicts or system restrictions. It’s a rollback error that happens when Windows detects something that could cause instability during the upgrade.

 

What I suggest is:

Free up disk space and disconnect unnecessary devices.

Update or temporarily remove problematic drivers and third-party antivirus/VPN.

Reset Windows Update components and run the Update Troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, use Windows 10 Update Assistant or Media Creation Tool for an in-place upgrade.
