To enable the Facilitator feature in your Outlook and Teams meetings, you need to ensure that you meet certain licensing and setup requirements. Here are the steps you should follow:
- Licensing Requirements: Make sure you have the following licenses assigned to you:
- An eligible Microsoft 365 base license.
- An eligible Microsoft Teams license (this may be included in your Microsoft 365 subscription).
- A Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
- Be a Microsoft Teams Public preview participant.
- Enable Facilitator: As an admin, the Facilitator feature is generally allowed by default. However, if it has been blocked in your organization, you will need to ask your admin to allow it. They can do this by:
- Signing into the Teams admin center.
- Navigating to Teams apps > Manage apps.
- Searching for Facilitator and selecting it to allow.
- Turn on Loop Experiences: Ensure that Loop experiences are enabled in Teams for Facilitator to function properly during meetings. This can be managed in the Teams admin center as well.
- Using Facilitator in Meetings: Once everything is set up, you should see the option to use Facilitator in your Teams meetings. During a meeting, you can turn on the Notes button on the console to access AI-generated notes.
If you still cannot find the feature, it may be necessary to check with your IT department to confirm your licenses and whether Facilitator is enabled for your account.
