My Microsoft personal account is linked only to a deactivated Entra tenant. I receive AADSTS5000225 when signing into Entra and cannot create a new directory. I need the blocked directory removed from my account so I can access Entra again.

The error you received (AADSTS5000225) means your tenant has been marked as inactive. When a tenant is inactive for a long time, Microsoft applies a login block. If the block lasts more than 20 days, the tenant may be permanently deleted.

Tenant inaccessible due to inactivity

If the block has been in place for less than 20 days, we may be able to restore access by unblocking it. Please provide the following details via private message:

Tenant ID

Email address used to sign in

Correlation ID from the login failure

Timestamp of the failure

Business impact and reason for restoring the tenant

Note: If this is a test or non-critical tenant, you can create a new one: Quickstart: Create a new tenant in Microsoft Entra ID

Hi Rukmini,
the tenant can be deleted, reset, purged, burned - I haven't used it in way longer than 20 days.

However, I cannot log into the azure portal, therefore I cannot create a new one myself :(

I sent you the IDs via PM.
