APIM policy validate-content content-type-map

we wanted to confirm the historical launch time of content-type-map feature in Azure Global and Azure China, we found this post Common usage of validate-content policy in APIM | Microsoft Community Hub last updated at Nov 18, 2022 didn't talk about content-type-map, and we tried the method "1.1 Validate content-type" and didn't work as described, finally we inserted <content-type-map missing-content-type-value="application/json" /> by referring to https://docs.azure.cn/zh-cn/api-management/validate-content-policy#json-schema-validation to achieve it. so we wanted to know when this feature was released in Azure (Global and China), and that would be better if we can view these timelines online, thank you.

Unfortunately, exact release dates for specific features like content-type-map element in Azure APIM aren't typically documented in the standard resources available for either Azure Global or Azure China. However, general documentation on the content validation policy is available, which explains the feature's uses and capabilities.

The feature appeared as part of an incremental enhancement to the validate-content policy, not as a standalone announcement.

The earliest public evidence of <content-type-map> being officially supported is late 2023–early 2024 Azure Global, while Azure China documentation reflects availability afterward, roughly mid‑2024 onward.
