I want to upload some files as knowledge sources in the 'configure section' while designing an AI agent, but there is just only one option which is attaching public links. But these files are not public so I kind of have these available links. What should I do to add the option 'Uploading files or folders'?

To add the option for uploading files in the configure section while creating a new AI agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot, you need to ensure that the File uploads feature is turned on in the Settings page for your agent. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Open the agent creation interface in Microsoft 365 Copilot.
    2. Go to the Configure tab.
    3. In the Knowledge section, look for the option to upload files. You should see an arrow icon that allows you to select files from your device.
    4. If you do not see the upload option, check the Settings page for your agent to ensure that File uploads is enabled.
    5. Once enabled, you can drag and drop files or browse to upload them directly from your device.

Note that you can upload individual files, but not folders, and you can add up to 20 files as knowledge sources. Make sure the files you want to upload do not have any unsupported characteristics, such as double key encryption or password protection.
