unable to view sticky notes on my android device after installing the onenote app (and signed into my account)... help?

I've installed the onenote app on my phone and have logged into my account on the device.

I'm attaching a screenshot of what I see on onenote... the sticky note reference isn't even there.

Thanks for sharing the details, Villafana! Try to force Sticky Notes to re-bind to your account

Sticky Notes sync is a separate cloud service from OneNote notebooks. On Android, it can silently fail to attach to your account, especially if you’ve ever used multiple Microsoft accounts (work + personal).

Step 1 - On a PC (Windows or web):

• Open Sticky Notes on Windows or go to 👉 https://www.onenote.com/stickynotes
• Confirm your notes are actually there.

Step 2 - Create ONE brand-new Sticky Note

• Literally add a new note with random text like: SYNC TEST – ANDROID
• Leave it open for 1–2 minutes.

Step 3 - Sign out of OneNote on Android

• OneNote → Profile icon → Sign out
• Do not just close the app.

Step 4 - Clear OneNote’s local cache (not data)

• Android Settings → Apps → OneNote
• Storage → Clear Cache only
• (Do not clear storage/data unless you want a full reset.)

Step 5 - Restart the phone

• This step matters — it resets Microsoft’s background auth token.

Step 6 - Sign back into OneNote

• Use the exact same Microsoft account you confirmed in step 1.

Step 7 - Wait 2–5 minutes

• Sticky Notes sync does not trigger instantly on Android.
• Open OneNote → Recents / Home → pull down to refresh.

In many cases, notes suddenly appear without any Sticky Notes tab ever showing, they load silently into the backend and then become visible.
