Defender for Endpoint URL

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to access Defender for Endpoint portal but it always redirect me to Microsoft 365 security .

the url I'm using for Defender for Endpoint is :

https://securitycenter.windows.com/

and it redirects me to https://security.microsoft.com/homepage

any idea why?

The redirection that you are seeing now is because going forward MS decided to give you a unified experience of your all M365 security ecosystem at one place.

For the tenants which has not been migrated, they will see this banner on securitycenter.windows.com :
