Since May 2025, after I complete a Windows Update, it then has a message on the bottom right of my screen to activate windows. I typically uninstall the last update and it goes away but now I cant even uninstall the last update. My windows is valid.

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

    slmgr /dlv

Then share a screenshot please. Thanks!

It seems that you are experiencing a recurring issue with Windows activation after updates. This can happen for several reasons, including potential corruption of system files or issues with the activation process itself. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Run the Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and see if there is an option to troubleshoot activation issues.
    2. Check for Additional Updates: Sometimes, subsequent updates can fix issues caused by previous ones. Make sure your system is fully updated.
    3. Use Command Prompt: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command slmgr.vbs /ato to attempt to activate Windows manually.
    4. Perform a System File Check: You can run sfc /scannow in an elevated Command Prompt to check for and repair corrupted system files.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue persists, it may be best to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance, especially since you mentioned your Windows is valid.

If you are unable to uninstall the last update, you may need to consider restoring your system to a previous state if you have a restore point available.
