Let my Windows 10 device show up in the list of my devices on my microsoft account and return the sync and sign in OneDrive by device start with no more errors when I press the power button on the device running windows 10.

Support case and identity required since I have no way to see it done today.

To unsubscribe a Windows 10 device from the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Unjoin the Device: If the device is joined to a Microsoft Entra ID, you may need to unjoin it. You can do this by running the command dsregcmd /leave in the command prompt.
    2. Check Registry Settings: You may need to check the registry settings related to ESU. Look for the following registry key:
      • Key: HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\ESU
      • You might need to modify or delete the entries related to ESU.
    3. Restart the Device: After making changes, restart your device to ensure that the changes take effect.
    4. Verify Enrollment: After the restart, you can check if the device is still enrolled in the ESU program by looking for the registry entries mentioned above.

If you encounter issues with syncing or signing into OneDrive after unsubscribing, ensure that your device is properly connected to your Microsoft account and that there are no other underlying issues affecting the device's performance.

For further assistance, you may need to reach out to Microsoft Support for specific identity and support case requirements.

    Hi,

Unsubscribing a Windows 10 device from Extended Security Updates (ESU) and fixing OneDrive sign-in issues are two separate processes:

ESU Unsubscribe: This can only be done through your Microsoft account or by contacting Microsoft Support if the option isn’t visible. It requires identity verification because ESU is tied to your license entitlement.

Device Missing in My Devices: Happens when the device isn’t properly registered after reinstalling Windows or changing accounts. Re-link by signing in with the correct Microsoft account and enabling Find my device.

OneDrive Errors at Startup: Usually caused by corrupted cached credentials or expired tokens. Reset OneDrive using:

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

Then restart and update Windows and OneDrive.

Since you need identity verification and backend changes, the fastest route is to open a support case at support.microsoft.com/contactus and request:

    ESU removal

    Device registration confirmation

    OneDrive sync fix

     I hope this helps!
