I take a picture with my iphone 16. I send it to my outlook.com email address. It never shows up on my desktop computer. However, I can look in my SENT folder on my desktop and it shows where the picture was sent from my iphone. What's up with that?

It sounds like there may be an issue with how your email account is configured or how the images are being sent from your iPhone. Here are a few things to check:

    1. Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes emails can be misclassified as spam. Ensure that the email containing the picture is not in your spam or junk folder on your desktop.
    2. Email Size Limitations: If the picture is too large, it may not be delivered. Outlook.com has size limits for attachments, so verify that the image size does not exceed these limits.
    3. Third-Party Applications: If you are using any third-party email applications or settings on your iPhone, ensure that they allow sending images. You can check this in the settings of your email profile.
    4. Sync Issues: Ensure that your Outlook on the desktop is properly syncing with your Outlook.com account. Sometimes, there can be delays in synchronization.
    5. Settings in Outlook: Check if there are any specific settings in your Outlook that might prevent images from being displayed or downloaded.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking with Microsoft support for more specific troubleshooting related to your account.

    Hello,

Most likely the message did arrive, but Outlook on your PC is hiding it behind Focused Inbox or a view filter. Fix it by making Outlook show all messages, then try again. Open Outlook on the desktop and go to the Inbox for your outlook account.

    Turn off Focused Inbox.

    • In classic Outlook select the View tab, then select Show Focused Inbox to remove the Focused and Other tabs.
    • In the new Outlook select View, then turn off Show Focused Inbox.

Clear any filters and reset the view.

    • In classic Outlook select View, then Reset View.
    • In the new Outlook open Filter and choose All, then make sure Sort is Date with Newest on top.

Give Outlook a minute to sync, then send the photo to yourself again from the iPhone.

If it now shows up, the original was simply hidden by the view. If it still does not, use Outlook search set to All folders and check Junk Email. If you find it there, mark it Not junk so future messages from your own address land in Inbox.
