my phone was linked to my laptop however it said that I was missing an upgrade I’ve tried various methods to update however I did a reset it still wasn’t fixed so I gave up on the update and tried reinstalling my apps my phone got disconnected so when I reinstalled the phone link app on the laptop it said I was no longer paired I tried to repair however when I scan the qr it says it’s trying to connect to the pc and goes no where . When I try to scan the qr it immediately goes to trying to connect to pc even if it’s only apart of the qr gets caught in the camera , I don’t think it’s actually reading the qr. can anyone help?

Hi Nichelle,

Nichelle, there are many reports of this issue with the latest update to Phone Link.

In the Windows search,

Type Powershell, right-click it, and choose Run as Administrator. Execute this command:

Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.YourPhone* | Reset-AppxPackage

Also, remove Bluetooth devices from each other - from Phone of the PC, and PC of the phone. Let me know if it helps you.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.
