To recover a missing note in OneNote, you can follow these steps:

1. Check Different Devices: Ensure that the note is not visible on another device where you access OneNote.
2. Shared Notes: If the note was shared with others, check if they can see it. If they can, consider moving the content to a new section.
3. OneDrive for Business: If your notes are stored in OneDrive, you can try restoring your OneDrive to a previous state. Follow the steps in the Restore your OneDrive guide.
4. SharePoint Online: If your notes are stored in SharePoint, you can also follow the steps in the same guide to check if the content is restorable.

Additionally, keep in mind that SharePoint retains backups for 14 days after deletion, so you may be able to recover your notes during that time.
