Can I, or how do I upgrade my Office 365 from Home to Business or Business Pro in the middle of my subscription?

The general steps are as follows：

Step 1: Buy a Microsoft 365 for business plan

Step 2: Create user accounts

(If necessary, you can migrate outlook and OneDrive data).

Step 3: Cancel your Microsoft 365 Family subscription

Step 4: Get a refund for the remainder of your original subscription.
