Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Is this a laptop keyboard or an external keyboard?
    2. I noticed you posted under Microsoft 365 subscription. Does the keyboard issue happen only in Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook) or everywhere in Windows?
    3. What exactly happens when you type (missed letters, delays, wrong characters, keys not responding)?

In the meantime, if you haven’t already:

    • Restart your PC (if you haven’t already).

    Check keyboard settings:

    • Go to Settings > Time & Language > Typing
    • Make sure no unexpected options (like Filter Keys) were turned on after the update.

Update or reinstall the keyboard driver:

    • Open Device Manager. Click Windows key + X and click Device Manager.
    • Expand Keyboards, right-click your keyboard, and choose Update driver
    • If that doesn’t help, try Uninstall device, then restart the PC (Windows will reinstall it automatically).

If you’re using an external keyboard:

    • Try unplugging it and testing another USB port, or test with a different keyboard if possible.

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
