I have been using hotmail for over 20 years, and in the past 5 years my email has stopped letting me recieve emails from people that i have sent emails to. I feel like hotmail/outlook is filtering them and blocking them from getting to my inbox.

I've checked my email setting and I dont have any rules or security settings.

Its annoying cause im not receiving very important emails like job offers.

If any one can help me I would much appreciate the help!

i have spoken to customer support and they didnt not help me! they completely disregarded the issue! and told me to just add them to the "safe sender list" But im not doing that every time i send an email!

This is not a web broser thing also its happening on my phone and laptop! ( i use both IOS & WINDOWS)

OUTLOOK CHECK MY ACCOUNT! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!

Thanks

Ann.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with receiving emails from third-party senders in your Hotmail/Outlook account. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Spam and Junk Folders: Sometimes, emails can be mistakenly filtered into the spam or junk folders. Make sure to check these folders for any important emails that might have been misclassified.
    2. Review Blocked Senders: Ensure that the senders you are expecting emails from are not on your blocked senders list. You can check this in your Outlook settings under the junk email options.
    3. Email Server Settings: Verify that your email server settings allow for external emails. Sometimes, settings can inadvertently block emails from certain domains or addresses.
    4. Action Groups in Azure Monitor: If you are using Azure services, check if there are any alert processing rules that might be suppressing emails from certain sources. This is particularly relevant if you are expecting alerts or notifications from Azure services.
    5. Contact Support Again: Since you've already reached out to customer support, consider escalating the issue or requesting a more detailed investigation into your account settings.

If the problem persists, it may be beneficial to create a new email account and see if the issue continues there, as this could help determine if the problem is specific to your current account.
