How to measure latency from edge device (pi) to Azure Media Service or Azure blob storage

Hi,

I am streaming a video using ffmpeg from my pi4 to azure media service.
I would like to measure the latency from when i stream to when the live event is available on azure media service.
Is there a way i can achieve this? Thanks

Hello,
If I understand the question correctly, probably the easiest way to measure end to end latency is to simply point the camera at a clock.

Thank you for your response. Yes i wanted to measure end-to-end latency. Please i would also like to know if there is any other way this can be done.

As mentioned before, the easiest way is to point your camera to a clock in the video itself. Alternatively you could use OBS and capture your desktop. On your desktop have a clock shown there.
