I am running Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials and when I open the Dashboard and click settings, then anywhere Access It says it needs to be repaired. After It's done repairing it tells me Remote Desktop Services are not configured Correctly. I did a BPA Scan on the Remote Desktop Services and it says:

Problem:
The Remote Desktop Gateway (RD Gateway) server does not have a valid Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate.

Impact:
If the RD Gateway server is configured to use an SSL certificate that is not valid, users cannot connect to internal network resources (computers) through the RD Gateway server.

Resolution:
Use the RD Gateway Manager tool to select a valid SSL certificate for the RD Gateway server to use.

Scan time: 8/1/2020 2:52:37 PM

BPA model version: 2.0

I have only the gateway installed.

Any Clues on how to fix this?

Thanks!

    Hi,

Kindly check if you have specified the certificate which is issued from Go Daddy:
Open Server Manager – Remote Desktop Services – Servers – right click your server on the list and select to open RD Gateway Manager:

Right click your server name and click Properties – SSL Certificate – manually specify the certificate which is issued by Go Daddy(which is displayed in IIS Manager):

If the certificate from Go Daddy has been specified, then kindly check if the certificate has expired and renew accordingly.

    Thanks,
    Jenny
