SCCM 2103 task sequence deploy to user based collection

Hi all,

We have upgraded to SCCM 2103 , however task sequence not able to deploy to user based collection ,as per MS it should be possible from SCCM/MECM 2010.

Any suggestion please ?

    You cannot directly do this. You must add the task sequence to an application using the task sequence deployment type. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/changes/whats-new-in-version-2010#deploy-a-task-sequence-deployment-type-to-a-user-collection

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Agree with Jason, and the task sequence deployment type is a pre-release feature, we have to enable it firstly.

    If your "Turn on" button grayed out, you may need to give consent to use pre-release features:

    1. In the Configuration Manager console, go to the Administration workspace, expand Site Configuration, and select the Sites node.
    2. In the ribbon, select Hierarchy Settings.
    3. On the General tab of Hierarchy Settings Properties, enable the option to Consent to use pre-release features.
