You cannot directly do this. You must add the task sequence to an application using the task sequence deployment type. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/changes/whats-new-in-version-2010#deploy-a-task-sequence-deployment-type-to-a-user-collection
SCCM 2103 task sequence deploy to user based collection
Hi all,
We have upgraded to SCCM 2103 , however task sequence not able to deploy to user based collection ,as per MS it should be possible from SCCM/MECM 2010.
Any suggestion please ?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.Agree with Jason, and the task sequence deployment type is a pre-release feature, we have to enable it firstly.
If your "Turn on" button grayed out, you may need to give consent to use pre-release features:
- In the Configuration Manager console, go to the Administration workspace, expand Site Configuration, and select the Sites node.
- In the ribbon, select Hierarchy Settings.
- On the General tab of Hierarchy Settings Properties, enable the option to Consent to use pre-release features.
