WSUS Disable P2P Sharing | 1 = On, PCs on my local network

Hello All,

Thank you for addressing my question. When configuring WSUS to disable P2P sharing, 1 = On, PCs on my local network, does local network describe the entire domain or the local subnet? To elaborate, with the value set to 1, will P2P sharing still occur across the WAN i.e. the entire domain?

Again, thank you so much,

William

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

The option to share Windows updates peer-to-peer (P2P) with other computers on your local network or with other computers over the Internet. Allowing others to download parts of Windows updates from your computer.
