I am trying to receive a security code to log into my Microsoft account on another device and I never seem to get one. I have read all the self-help articles and it’s frustrating I can’t talk to a person on the phone with my issue.

Have you tried using other devices to sign in to your account? Are you not able to receive any code?

I set up the Microsoft Authenticator app and now I was able to sign in but the issue of receiving a security code still doesn’t work. I logged into my account and I can receive security codes to approve my alternate email but for my main email account I can’t.
I see. Thank you for your response. May I ask if the email is an Outlook.com account?
Do you have any other sign-in preferences or other verification methods on your account, like your phone number? Can you able to receive a code through there?
