Thank you John, I did what you suggested twice in the past and unfortunately I had to submit again my mail and password. I think I just need a procedure to remove my account from that device as I am getting a Trace ID. Is there I way that I can just remove my account from it without affecting the rest of my other devices ??? Thank you again !!!!

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Try removing the device online instead of on the PC

    • Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with your Microsoft Account.
    • Locate the device you’re donating (be careful on this part and choose the right device)
    • Select Remove device and confirm.

If that still shows the error:

    • Try using a different browser (Firefox or Chrome) or an Edge's InPrivate, or other browser's Incognito window.
    • If possible, try again after a few hours, this type of error is often temporary on Microsoft’s side.

If the device can’t be removed from your account due to the TraceID error, performing a full Reset this PC with Remove everything is enough. Once the reset is complete, the device will no longer have access to your files, apps, or Microsoft Account, and it can be safely donated. Or perform clean installation https://www.microsoft.com/windowsinsider/cleaninstall just skip the "After installation" part.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

It seems you are encountering an issue while trying to remove a device from your account, indicated by the TraceID message. This could be related to various factors, such as permissions or device management settings. If you are using Microsoft Intune to manage your devices, ensure that you have the necessary permissions to remove the device. Additionally, if the device is still enrolled or managed by your organization, you may need to follow specific procedures to unenroll it properly.

If you continue to face issues, consider reaching out to your IT support or checking the documentation for further guidance on managing devices in your account.
