Taskbar not working

Hello, I've been having problems with my taskbar and windows GUI for about a week now. I am not able to click any of the pinned apps in my taskbar or the ones I've pinned when I use my windows key. I've found that locking my screen and unlocking it again works as a temporary fix, but after a couple minutes the problem comes back once again. When it comes back I am not able to use my taskbar as mentioned and can't exit or minimize any opened windows. I've already used the sfc and dism commands via the command prompt and even used the windows powershell with the commands some users have recommended to use in posts similar to this one. I also tried using the windows repair feature and reinstalled windows but the problem persists. Any other ideas as to how I can fix this will be very much welcomed.

It is very strange if this problem has survived re-installing Windows.

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to System - Recovery.

Click the 'Reinstall Now' button in the 'Fix problems with Windows Updates' section, then wait for that process to complete, that should resolve that corruption in Windows 11.
