I have Microsoft Home and Business 2024. Do I need a separate Microsoft account for 1.99 /month?

The Microsoft 365 Basic plan ($1.99/month) is an add-on to your personal account. Sign in with your personal account to purchase that plan. But you might only want to buy it if you need 100GB of OneDrive space.

Hello !

Office 2024 and the Microsoft 365 Basic subscription are two different things. You don't need to have a second Microsoft account to subscribe to this plan : just make sure you subscribe with the account that needs more storage space.
