Why I cannot write truth in MSN comments?

I'd like wrote recently in the comments about history of Western civilisation against another group of members. Is writing about Atlantic slave trade and wars in Middle East illegal? Why can't I engage in mature discussion?

    Hey there, James Cook

The moderation team who oversee the MSN platform do not participate in this community. They moderate content based on their community standards, found here: https://www.msn.com/en-us/community/guideline

While they say they encourage conversations around the news articles that are posted. They have to follow the guidelines above.

Please be aware that I am only speculating here, with this next part, because I can't see what has been removed or what you posted. However, the topics you have stated in your initial thread may breach the following points here:

Abusive or illegal conduct are not acceptable here. Do not post:

    • Violent content
    • Illegal activity
    • Risk to self or others
    • Abusive language
    • Hate speech

Really, for a clearer answer, rather then my speculation, you should be able to see your history here: https://www.msn.com/en-us/community/activity?profileStatus=true

You should be able to make an appeal from there for someone from their moderation team to review.

Hope this is helpful & Happy New Year,
    Nathan
